Backbench MP found ‘tweeting’ in parliament

Duncan Staveley, MP for Draggot and Burnlow, was found tweeting through Wednesday’s House of Common’s session.

Mr. Staveley was reportedly perched on the back row of seats, tweeting incessantly and constructing a nest out of twigs and mud. Doctors have diagnosed Mr. Staveley’s tweets as “mirroring those of a blackbird”.

Mr. Staveley has been removed to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital for the Comically Insane.
