BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IN MATHS-FUELLED BLOODBATH DURING SESAME STREET CAMEO

Benedict Cumberbatch, star of the BBC’s hit programme ‘Sherlock’, broke down in a recent cameo on children’s show ‘Sesame Street’, issuing the puppets with death threats as a result of a taxing maths problem.

Cumberbatch, 37, was appearing on the PBS show ‘Sesame Street’ when he was posed a taxing mathematical problem by resident brain-box puppet Murray – who, despite Cumberbatch’s protestations, demanded to be called “Murray-arty”, in homage to Sherlock Holmes’ nemesis Moriarty.

Referring to Cumberbatch as “Sherlock”, in reference to his portrayal of the world’s greatest detective, the puppet posed the following mathematical minefield of a question: “are there more apples or oranges?” Cumberbatch was visibly perplexed by the query, and was seen to grab at his hair in both hands in agitation.

Seeing Cumberbatch’s vexation, Murray-arty goaded the actor, calling him “Sherlock Shmerlock”, “the bimbo of Baker Street”, and “a dense motherfucker”. This continued for some time, with many other puppets joining in on the bullying – at one point, The Count was seen to slap Cumberbatch’s face back and forth until he grew tired.

Eventually, it all became too much for Cumberbatch, who let out a wail of anger and frustration and cast the puppets asunder. Standing up and knocking the apples and oranges to the floor, Cumberbatch fell victim to a bloodlust and roamed the studio, grabbing puppets and ripping them limb from limb in a frenzy.

When the bloodbath had finally ended, Cumberbatch laid the arms and legs of the slain puppets on the floor in front of him and, quivering, asked the question: “are there more arms or legs, children?”

Cumberbatch is currently in Dr. Jeremiah’s Institute for the Criminally Insane.
